From both the Judaic and Christian perspectives, “Judeo-Christian” is an oxymoron in the vein of “defector-believer.” Keep in mind that, as the rabbis freely stipulate, Judaism is a post-Christian religion, hence Christianity preceded Judaism, not vice versa:

Consider, the two cases, the Christian perspective and the Judaic perspective.


Case #1—the Christian Perspective


If you are a Christian you must believe that God can neither deceive nor be deceived. If so, then you must take Him at His word in both the Old and New Testaments. In Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26 God specified the contract of the Mosaic Covenant. He specified the duties of the Israelites to obey Him, the rewards if they obeyed Him, and the penalties if they disobeyed Him. Please note that God did NOT promise to reward defection with a real estate deal in the Middle East; He promised dispersal and misery.

Thus, they broke the contract of the Mosaic Covenant. God did not forsake His people or “repent of His gifts,” but His people rejected Him, worshipped false gods, were wicked, and voided the Mosaic Covenant.


Mind you, this is the “Hebrew Bible” speaking God’s Word. There can be no honest claim that the “Hebrew Bible” is “anti-Semitic”; it is their own scriptures.

At the time of His earthly ministry Jesus Christ, True God and True Man, accused the Pharisees of “mak[ing] void the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition” (Mark 7:8-9; Matthew 15:3-6). He also noted that Moses accused the Pharisees (John 5:45-47), yet another indication of God’s judgment that His people had broken the Mosaic Covenant.

So, those who altered and defected from the Old Testament, Mosaic revelation, are not in the lineage of those who accept and submit to Mosaic revelation. Jesus warned us in Apocalypse 3:9 of impostors:


“the synagogue of Satan, those who say they are Jews,

and are not, but do lie.”


And He pronounced judgment on the fate of the “proselytes” of the Pharisees at Matthew 23:15:


“Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you go round about the sea and the land to make one proselyte; and when he is made, you make him the child of hell

twofold more than yourselves.”


From the Christian perspective, “Jews,” as proselytes of the Pharisees, followers of the Pharisees, not Moses, defected from the Mosaic Covenant and rejected the New Covenant. Hence, “Jews” are not faithful, but apostate. Notwithstanding smarmy flattery from Christians about “Elder Brothers” and notwithstanding the rabbis retailing their authority by “Noahide Laws,” the pretense of Christian continuity with today’s Pharisees is a bold lie.  Recall that, as freely stipulated by the rabbis, Judaism is a post-Christian religion, a reaction against Christianity. So, those who defected from the Mosaic Covenant and rejected the New Covenant are not faithful, but apostate. Hence, for Christians “Judeo-Christian” is an oxymoron in the vein of “defector-believer.”

Tikkunei Zohar 1:27a gloats that the Oral Torah “buries Moses.” The rabbis boast that they are divine, so can “alter the very content of Mosaic revelation”:

Honor was due him more than to the scroll of the Torah, for through his learning and logic he might alter the very content of Mosaic revelation. He was Torah, not merely because he lived by it, but because at his best he constituted as compelling an embodiment of the heavenly model as did a Torah scroll itself.”

What does Torah teach about Jesus? About Christians?


Since converts from Judaism revealed the foundational teachings of Judaism, much effort has been invested in sanitizing vernacular translations of the Torah, the Talmud and Kabbala. These sanitized editions are useful to the rabbis: “See it’s not there.” Or “The tractate is about Balaam.” Or even the outrageous lie, “Jesus isn’t even mentioned in the Talmud”—except that Jesus is mentioned—degraded—in the Talmud.

The rabbis’ ignominious “Torah” (Torah SheBeal Peh) teaches that Jesus was conceived adulterously in niddah (menstrual filth) by a Roman soldier named Pandera (Kallah 51a) of a whore (Sanhedrin 106a), so He is a mamzer (bastard) and that He is now in Hell boiling in feces and, in some editions of the Talmud, semen because he is accused of sexual perversion. (Gittin 57a).


The rabbis boast of responsibility for Jesus' Crucifixion, “hanged,” even though the Romans were “inclined toward acquittal” of Jesus (Sanhedrin 43a); therefore Jewish denial and blame-shifting to the Romans is a lie. The infamous Toledoth Yeschu, Maimonides’ Hilkoth Akun V, 3 and Letter to Yemen), and the 1905 Jewish Encyclopedia (page 170), all boast of Jewish responsibility for Christ’s death. The Talmud notes that Jesus deserved four more deaths.  The rabbis argue that Jesus should have been strangled while immersed in dung (Sanhedrin 52a). The rabbis insist that Jesus Himself was an idolater (Sanhedrin 43a, 107b) who worshipped a brick (Sanhedrin 67a, 107b), so Jesus was justly executed.


The rabbis say that Jesus returns on Christmas Eve (“nittel nacht,” “Night of the Hanged One”), that the mamzer (bastard) is crawling through all the maschovim (latrines), that Judas Iscariot fought an airborne battle with Jesus, that during the fight Judas ejaculated upon Jesus “like an arrow,” that God caused Jesus to fall from the sky, that the Jewish multitude dragged Jesus through all the maschovim (latrines), where Jesus was covered with feces and left to decompose, that Jesus’ disciples said, “Let his mother come and wipe his excrement.”(Toledoth Yeschu)


Jews routinely call Jesus “Yeshu” (ישו), a Jewish mockery of Jesus’ actual Hebrew name “Yeschua” (ישוע). Yeshu is a Hebrew acronym for: “May his name and memory be blotted out.”


There are numerous scurrilous, scatological, blasphemous accusations against Jesus in the Talmud and rabbinical literature. Though the passages have been denied and expurgated Talmud editions have been published, often using code words for Jesus, Princeton Professor and Director of Judaic Studies Peter Schafer has examined dozens of Talmud editions in the original and vernacular languages. Schafer not only adduces the explicit references to Jesus of Nazareth, but he also traces the code words used in the Talmud editions expurgated and sanitized for Gentile consumption. Schafer traces from edition to tractate to folio how “Balaam,” “that man,” “the carpenter,” “ben Pandera” (son of Pandera), the blank spaces, and the rest of the code words refer to Jesus of Nazareth.

In the sanitized Talmud editions numerous code word substitutions are used for Christians (minim, Cutheans, Egyptians, Epicureans, etc.). Since Gentiles, including Christians, only look like men, but have the souls of animals (among many, Kerithoth 6b, Sanhedrin 74b,Yebamoth 98a, Bereshith 47a, et al.), Gentiles are owed no debt of morality or decency—not honesty (Baba Kamma 113a), not property (Baba Mezia 24a), not even life!

Clearly, orthodox Jews too reject affinity with Christians.




They believe we are apostate idolaters who are not human and who should be deceived, looted, raped, enslaved, and killed. They believe that only Jews are human, that only they are believers.


We know they are apostates, we are believers, that all people are humans who should be loved and converted so that they may be saved. We know this because God tells us so.


So, from both the Jewish and Christian perspectives, “Judeo-Christian” is a lying oxymoron in the vein of “defector-believer.”  The term is a weaponized invention intended to narcotize Christians into a coma forgetful of God’s warnings about “the synagogue of Satan, those who say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie”

 (Apocalypse 3:9).
